Who we plan for

You are building a career. You are also building a wedding.

Most of our couples are in their late twenties and thirties, with demanding careers on the East Coast and parents who are generously bringing to life a celebration imagined for decades. You want it exclusive, personal and effortless. You do not have four hundred spare hours. We do.

Intimate & destination

A ceremony in Udaipur, Tuscany or Cabo, planned from New Jersey so that all you pack is the lehenga.

At home

The backyard event

A haldi or mehndi in your parents' garden that feels like a private members' club. Tent, power and permits included.

The big fat Indian wedding

Three days, two families, one calm timeline. All of the grandeur, none of the chaos.

A couple dancing in a courtyard at night
The grand entrance

A baraat that closes the street

Police permits, the horse, the dhol, the timing. Handled, so the only thing you notice is the joy.

Our weddings typically range from $300,000 to well over a million. We plan each with the same care, and we treat every dollar as if it were our own.

25years in the room

The honest question

Why hire a planner with twenty-five years of experience?

01

Because we have seen every version of this wedding.

Thousands of weddings, every faith, every season, every kind of weather. There is very little left that can surprise us, which means very little can surprise you.

02

Because the best vendors answer our call first.

Twenty-five-year relationships with the caterers, décor houses, priests and venues that matter. Better dates, better pricing, better behaviour on the day.

03

Because a budget needs a guardian.

Whether it is $300,000 or well over a million, we build the budget with you and your parents, then protect it with a discipline that only experience brings.

04

Because families are the wedding.

Two households, two sets of traditions, occasionally two opinions. We are the calm, neutral voice in the middle. We speak fluent parent.

05

Because you should be a guest at your own wedding.

You will not check a timeline, chase a vendor or look for the groom's shoes. That is our work. Yours is to be present.

Our philosophy

Larger than life, yet grounded.

A South Asian wedding is never one event. It is a week of them, each with its own rhythm, its own elders and its own way of going quietly wrong. We create the grand moments: the entrance, the mandap, the first look, the last dance.

And we are equally devoted to the small ones. The priest who arrives on time. The chair for your grandmother beside the stage. The samosas that are still warm at four o'clock. When those are handled, completely and without fuss, something rare happens: the family is present at its own wedding.

Grandeur is easy to promise. Presence is what we deliver.

Multi-day expertise

One wedding, five beginnings

Every event has its own rhythm. We plan each on its own terms, and all of them as one story.

  1. A bride's hands with fresh henna
    Day one

    Mehndi

An afternoon of henna, chaat and the first songs of the week.

  2. A bride dancing with family
    Day two

    Sangeet

Choreographed families, a live band, a finale nobody rehearsed.

  3. Guests celebrating a haldi
    Day three

    Haldi

Turmeric, marigolds and the loudest laughter of the week.

  4. Hands during a wedding ritual
    Day four

    Ceremony

Pheras, nikah or anand karaj. The oldest hour, handled with the most care.

  5. A candlelit reception table
    Day four, later

    Reception

Candlelight, the first dance, and a chai bar that outlasts the DJ.

How it works

Five steps, one calm path

Refined over two decades so that you always know where you are, what comes next, and who is holding it.

  1. Conversation

An hour, in the studio or on a call. You tell us about your families, your must-haves and your worries. We listen more than we talk.

  2. Vision

Events, scale, budget and mood in one clear document. Every decision for the next year is measured against it.

  3. Design

Mandap, florals, lighting, stationery. Composed so the mehndi and the reception feel related, never repeated.

  4. Coordination

Vendors, timelines, contracts and families, managed across every event without overwhelming anyone.

  5. The day

We arrive before the first vendor and leave after the last guest. You are a guest at your own wedding.

What couples and families say

We kept waiting for something to go wrong. Nothing did. For the first time at a family wedding, my parents sat down, ate, and simply enjoyed themselves.

They understood our traditions without needing them explained, and guided us gently where we needed it. That balance is rare, and it mattered to us more than anything.

I run a team of forty and I did not check a single timeline for three days. I did not know that was possible.

A note from the founder

Grand is easy. Present is the work.

Twenty-five years ago I planned a cousin's wedding from a kitchen table in Edison, a notebook in one hand and a camera in the other. Four events, three hundred guests. I remember the terror, and I remember the moment on the last night when my aunt put her hand on my shoulder and said, simply, “I got to enjoy it.”

I have chased that sentence ever since, through thousands of weddings, from behind the lens and from beside the mandap. You learn things from that vantage point that no planning course teaches: which moments matter, which ones nobody remembers, and exactly where a day quietly starts to go wrong.

We are not a large agency, and we do not want to be. We take a limited number of weddings each year so the people you meet at the first conversation are the same people standing beside the mandap. We will tell you the truth about budgets. We will be kind to your vendors. We will never make your wedding look like ours; we are here to make it feel like yours.
